Banners - 468 by 60 Pixels

1. Banner/Half-Banner/Button/Text-Link Ad Creation: Advertisers must provide their own banner/half-banner/button/text-link ad for placement on the site. At the present time www.chen-taiji.com (hereafter known as "the site") does not offer a professional ad creation service.  Some sites such as Quick Banner can create a Web ad for a nominal fee while others such as Ad Designer offer free online creation of an ad.  If needed, however, the site can create a very basic banner-type or text-based ad for an additional fee of $20. For banner/half-banner/button ads, our basic ad is a non-animated, text-based, solid color background ad containing ad text provided either by the advertiser or the site (if preferred).

2. Ad Requirements: Banner/Half- Banner/Button ads must be in gif or jpg format and can be animated. Advertiser must provide link for ad. Button Ads must be 120 pixels wide by 60 pixels deep and be 5,000 bytes (5K) or smaller in file size. Half-Banner Ads must be 234 pixels wide by 60 pixels deep and be 7,000 bytes (7K) or smaller. Banner Ads must be 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels deep and be 10,000 bytes (10K) or smaller. Text-Link Ads must be 55 characters or less in total length.

3. Ad Placement: Unlike many other sites on the Internet, your ad will not be rotated with other ads in the same ad space. Instead of a "hit or miss" approach to reaching site visitors, your ad will appear each time the Web page it's on is viewed. Button ads will be placed in the left "channel" (column) of a Web page, near the top of the channel and above any Google Ads in channel. Half-Banner Ads will horizontally be placed in the main part of a Web page and vertically placed from near the top to about halfway down Web page. Banner Ads: Only one banner ad will be placed on a particular Web page. The Google-based Ad found at the very top of a Web page will be removed for the duration of your ad term. Your banner ad will be at the top of the page, in the same ad space used by the removed Google ad. Text-Link Ads will be placed in our Ad Links box, which is above Google ads in channel but below any button ads, and have ad link that brings up new browser window. Please view our pop-up showing relative location of ads on a page. Your ad will be placed in its general location as stated above on a first come, first serve basis. The exact positioning of advertisement(s) within the general locations stated above, unless mutually agreed-upon, is at the sole discretion of the site.

4. Ad Design and Content Approval: All ads, including text used for text-link ads, are subject to approval by the site.

5. Other Ad Options: The site is willing to work with potential advertisers, either Christian-site or secular-based, on possible ad sizes and ad options different from what we currently offer. Please Email us your proposal and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

1. Ad Impression Definition: Banner/Half-Banner/Button/Text-Link Ads are priced based on the commonly used metric called ad impressions. Advertising impressions are based on Web page views. An ad page view is counted when the page on which an ad is located is served to a site visitor. This metric is used by many sites since it is not possible for a Web site to track ad impressions from cached images that are on a users computer, or ad impressions from services that cache Web sites. Such impressions would be over and above ads served by a site.

2. Ad Payment: Payment, in U.S. dollars, is due in advance of ad placement on site. Fees are non-refundable. Payment terms negotiable for established accounts. Payment of ad bill using VISA or MasterCard Credit Card can be made securely and safely via paypal.
   

      

3. Ad Approval: The Site reserves the right to refuse, reject or cancel any advertisement, URL link, space reservation or position commitment, at any time, for any or no reason whatsoever (including belief by the site that placement of advertisement, URL link, etc., may subject the Site to criminal or civil liability).
