Chong is a Mechanical Engineer by training, and is now with Worley Parsons . He has an Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the National University of Singapore. His
experience is in Project Management, in the Oil & Gas industry. We were previously based in
Shenzhen, China for an Oil Terminal project, before relocating to Perth, Australia in 2005, where we are
now. So far, he's completed the ROC Oil separation plant project up north in Dongara, and we're now
back in Perth again!
As for me, I'm also a B.A. (English
Lanaguage & Literature) from the same university as Chong, the National University of Singapore. We met when we were undergraduates
there. He was on the varsity Taekwondo team and I was a Taekwondo newbie! I'm also a motherhood graduet with
2 darling TERRORS under my wing. One is my daughter, Rhian, who's now 3. The other is my son, Brandon,
who'll be 6 soon. Yes, I am in part, an experimental field researcher in paediatric development (aka
Mother). For the other part, to keep a balance on my sanity, I have this website and my writing. I used to
have a career but that's been effectively sidelined or rather, gone into deep freeze now that I have my 2 kids who
are proving to be a full-time job twice over. I'm keeping my online resume handy ... for whenever I get a
chance!
